Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Financial Coach?

Financial coaches tend to focus on fundamental financial needs and education. We  usually take a more personal, hands-on approach to working with clients.

How is a Financial Coach different from a Financial Advisor?

Financial advisors tend to focus on advanced financial strategies, managing wealth, and implementing financial products. Financial coaches focus more on budgeting, managing debt, and changing behavior. While financial coaches legally cannot offer investment, tax or insurance advice, we can point you in the right direction when you’re ready to take those next steps.

What does a Financial Coach do?

In a nutshell, a financial coach provides clients with a foundation for successful money management. It is our job to help you establish confidence in your money skills as well as help you identify and achieve financial goals. A financial coach works with you as a partner, but ultimately you are responsible for your success.
